In a new commercial for the Ro weight loss product, a woman identified as Gray puts the question that has been so troubling Americans for the past seven years succinctly:
“I’m not quite sure how something that’s just a little, tiny prick can be so powerful in so many different ways.”
Seriously. That’s what she says. I broke out laughing the moment I heard it for the first time.
It’s hard to imagine that the creators didn’t have in mind the question that is so troubling millions of Americans—and, at a minimum, hundreds of millions of people around the globe. The look on Gray’s face as she says the words suggests that she may have had it in mind, too:
“I’m not quite sure how something that’s just a little, tiny prick can be so powerful in so many different ways.”
Not only does she give credence to Fat Yam, but she seems to be maybe thinking that accupuncture might be the answer? (Did the creators of this ad NOT think of what the "p" word would carry and mean and lend itself to out here in reality??)
